What Is Badass Ballerina Like? 

Warm up on the mat with mobility, flexibility and core work and strong floor barre exercises to prepare the ankles, knees and hips for standing work. Next, following the structure of traditional ballet class, you develop strength and mobility in standing ballet work, then progress to an easy-to-follow choreographed sequence that stems from various ballet, dance and fitness techniques and positions. Working with mini weighted medicine balls will take the upper body and core training experience to another level.

All levels of fitness are welcome in this fun-filled ballet inspired class! The choreography is simple to learn and fun to perform while you develop lean, strong muscles!  

Is Badass Ballerina a Good Workout?   

Badass Ballerina is an incredible workout to improve your strength, flexibility, range of motion and neuroplasticity. 

  • Strength. Not only is Badass Ballerina a great sculptor of legs and core, but the isometric contractions needed for expressive arms, in addition to the resistance of the Soft Touch Medicine Balls, creates strength in the arms as well. 
  • Flexibility and Range of Motion. The emphasis on length and reach throughout the body in Badass Ballerina improves posture, and the stretching elements before and after the main body of work help maintain that length outside of the class. 
  • Neuroplasticity. Learning a variety of dance combinations asks the brain to learn patterns differently, which creates new neural pathways in the brain. This creates other venues for the brain to follow, allowing the brain to respond more quickly

What Should I Wear to Badass Ballerina? 

Come ready to dance. Typically, people wear sweat wicking clothing that will offer ample coverage and will stay put and allow you to move with ease throughout the range of motion of exercises.  Badass Ballerina is performed barefoot! 

What do I need to Bring? 

Hydrate my friend, make sure you have plenty of water with you.  Be sure to pack a towel—this is sweaty work! Most importantly, bring along a great attitude and smile to share.

It may look like ballet training, but it is much more. Barre Assets is a uniquely challenging, non-impact fitness class that delivers major results to tone and shape the body. Barre Assets mixes elements of Pilates, dance, ballet and functional training choreographed to music designed to motivate and inspire

Barre Bootcamp.

Barbell Bound.

Bound for time? Bound for results? You’re bound to raise the bar in this singular workout that combines two types of strength training.
